Ready, set, go (shopping)!
Skaneateles’ Curbstone Festival and Sidewalk Sales return July 10-12 along Genesee,
Jordan and Fennell streets. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Saturday.
“Curbstone is one of our most highly anticipated events,” says Hilary Fenner, executive
director of the Skaneateles Area Chamber of Commerce. “Whether you’re looking for a
great deal or a fun family outing, you’re sure to have a blast.”
More than 50 merchants will take part. Among the sales and specials sure to delight
shoppers:
1st National Gifts will feature sales on Cat’s Meow collectibles, fall and winter Scout
bags and seasonal holiday items.
Bev & Co. will offer 50-75% off sale clothing.
Cream & Coffee will be popping up with homemade ice cream and waffle cones!
DROOZ + Co. will offer up to 60% off books, puzzles, games, decor and gifts on sale
tables inside the store.
Emma + James and Hap + Main will offer an additional 40% off clearance items and
40% off select full-price items.
KB Boutique will offer up to 20% off on comfortable, stylish women’s clothing.
Nest 58 will offer significant discounts on designer items, including MacKenzie-Childs.
Papavero Clay Studio will offer specials on its permanent jewelry, along with in-store
discounts.
Rhubarb Kitchen Shop will offer special buys from Cuisinart (while supplies last), with
40-60% off cookware sets, cast iron Dutch ovens, toasters, two-piece fry pan sets,
immersion blenders and more. Additional specials on Swiss Diamond cookware and
WÜSTHOF cutlery. Check the shop’s Instagram or Facebook pages for other specials.
Roland’s will offer great prices on trusted brands of clothing and footwear.
Sea Culture Brand will offer $10, $20 and $30 items on the sidewalk, and discounts on
Sea Culture clothing in-store.
Skaneateles300 brings steals and deals to the sidewalk.
Skaneateles Artisans will offer a 5% discount on purchases totaling $50-$150 and a
10% discount on purchases over $150.
Something Bougie will offer $10 Sakran and Shaw archive items, sales on Sea
Culture archive items, $65 grab bag deals, and markdowns on clothes, handbags and
wallets throughout the store.
The Local Branch will offer up to 50% off leather and canvas goods samples, and 20%
off storewide.
The Savage Homestead will offer 50% or more off discontinued soy candles, bath and
body products, and items for the home. Shop a special selection of upcycled container
soy candles. Complimentary reusable tote bags, while supplies last.
Vermont Green Mountain will offer drink specials and a free gift with every $25 spent.
John Tumino of In My Father’s Kitchen will sample his pasta sauce on Saturday.
Vintage Bling and Other Fabulous Things will offer “amazing deals” on the fabulous
creations of its local makers — both on the sidewalk and in its downstairs shop.
Joining the established shops along Genesee, Jordan and Fennell streets will be pop-
up shops by Adagio Road Soap Company, Alchemy Healing Arts, Arabella Hair Studio,
Aura Sky Crystals, Bree Kids, Brookside Botanical, Clay + Confetti Co.,
Forge Gone Conclusions, HABA Toy Store Outlet, K. Wilson, Keila Makes It, Lake Life
Laser Studio, Lake Town Love, Mottville Maple, Navy Gray Baby Boutique, Nikki's Photography,
Reuse Refuge, Skaneateles Historical Society, Sugarfoot,
Stacianery, and SYRACHA’CUSE brand sauces.
Several nonprofit organizations will have booths set up to acquaint visitors with their
mission.
Entertainment will be provided, too. The Jackman Twins, known for their magic, juggling
and balloon art, will perform from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, noon to 3 p.m. Friday and 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. On Friday, the Skaneateles Community Band will perform at
the Gazebo starting at 7:30 p.m.
Sightseeing cruises will be offered each day by Mid-Lakes Navigation. For schedule

While you’re in town, check out the Skaneateles Library’s summer book sale, running 6
to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 75 Fennell St., site of
the library’s future home. (Bag sale is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.)
Paid parking is available at metered spots along the street or in the municipal lot
(accessed through Genesee or State streets), where parking is 75 cents an hour and
all-day parking is $6.
Free parking is available in the Austin Park Pavilion lot at the corner of Jordan and Austin streets, and in the lower gravel lot of Skaneateles High School across from Leitch Avenue.
A free shuttle will run between the school’s lower lot and the municipal lot.
