Fall Fest Weekend in Skaneateles

October 25, 26 & 27

Friday, October 25th

• Pick up a form at the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce starting at 10 am and adventure around the village looking for cutout clues in shop windows. Return a completed form to the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce by the end of the day Sunday (10/27) for a chance to win one of 10 prize bags! This event is fun for all ages, but geared toward children 12 and under!

Barrow Walking Tours, 1 pm, 3 pm

Join the Barrow Gallery at 1 pm or 3 pm for their walking tour of Skaneateles centered around artist John D Barrow. View all the details by clicking here.

 Cruise and Carry Out on the Judge Ben Wiles, 5 pm

Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute cruise on Skaneateles Lake with Mid-Lakes Navigation. Bring food from your favorite restaurant with you and enjoy featured drinks from Prison City Brewing. Reserve your spot by clicking here.

Fall Photoshoot at the Gazebo in Skaneateles, 4-6 pm

Saturday, October 26th

• Kick off your Saturday with a Trick-or-Treating sidewalk parade downtown! Wear your costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating in downtown Skaneateles. End the parade at the Skaneateles Methodist Church on Jordan St with some sweet treats and cider!

Haunted Gingerbread House

Join the Skaneateles Community Center to build a Haunted Gingerbread House. You can make the gingerbread kits there or take them home. The cost is $20. Pay and order at the front desk before October 19th.

Cemetery Tours by the Skaneateles Historical Society, 10:30 am, 12 pm, 2:30 pm

• The Skaneateles Historical Society will be giving Cemetery Tours throughout the day. The Cemetery Tours will be about 45 minutes long. Please reserve your space by calling the Skaneateles Historical Society at 315-685-1360, at their museum at 28 Hannum St., or email them at shsmuseumdirector@gmail.com. Space is limited! The tours are free of charge, but donations are always appreciated!

• Make a purchase at a participating store and receive a coupon for a free drink at one of the many amazing spots in downtown Skaneateles. The perfect fall afternoon does exist!

Sunday, October 27th

Featured Mocktails and Fall-Themed Coffees, All Day

• Stop by participating restaurants and coffee shops for fun fall-themed mocktails and coffees. Enjoy a stroll through the village with a fun beverage!

Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest, 11 am

• Dress up your pet for the Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest sponsored by the Skaneateles Library. CLICK HERE for all of the details

• Join the Witchy Women of the Finger Lakes at The Sinclair of Skaneateles for a dance performance followed by Trick or Treating - bring the kids in costume! All proceeds for this event are donated to local charitable organizations.

Window Decorating Contest

Starting October 25th you can vote for your favorite fall storefront. We will add the link to vote on October 25th. The winning store will get highlighted on our social media pages along with bragging rights until next year's contest!
