Salvation Army Bell RingersThe Skaneateles Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to coordinate the Salvation Army Bell Ringers during Dickens Christmas once again. This year, an impressive 90% of the funds raised will stay right here in Skaneateles to support our community’s basic needs. These funds assist local families with food, utility bills, medical care, self-help programs, and much more, all distributed through the Skaneateles Outreach Program.

We would greatly appreciate your help in volunteering an hour or two of your time. We have two kettles to staff, with each shift lasting just one hour. We recommend having two volunteers per kettle. Ringing will take place during the Dickens Festival from noon to 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday, as well as the Friday after Thanksgiving. Dickens Christmas runs from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve.
